About Split PDF
Split PDF breaks one document into several smaller files. Choose by page ranges (for example 1-3, 4-6, 7-) to create one PDF per range, every page to get one PDF per page, or every N pages to cut the document into equal chunks. When more than one file is produced, you can download them all together as a ZIP or individually.
Often called a PDF splitter, it can divide PDF files into separate parts or split PDF into pages, so each chapter, invoice or form becomes a file of its own.
Output files are named after your original with the pages they contain, such as report_pages-1-3.pdf, so they are easy to tell apart. The original file is never changed.
Tips
- Write ranges separated by commas. Use 8- to mean page 8 through to the last page.
- To keep selected pages together in a single new PDF, use Extract Pages instead.
