About PDF to Word
PDF to Word creates an editable .docx file from your PDF. In Editable text mode the converter reads where each piece of text sits on the page and rebuilds paragraphs, headings, bold and italic text, indentation and centered lines, so you can edit the content in Word. In Page images mode each page is placed in the Word file as a picture, which looks identical to the PDF but can’t be edited — a good choice for scanned documents.
As a PDF converter for Word users it can convert PDF to Word, save a PDF to DOCX, or turn a PDF to editable Word text in one step. Use Page images mode if the file is a scan.
A PDF doesn’t store paragraphs or tables the way Word does, so results depend on the document: simple text layouts convert well, while tables, multiple columns and forms come out approximated. There is no OCR, and pictures are not included in editable-text mode. Always review the result in Word.
