About Extract Pages
Extract Pages pulls selected pages out of a PDF into a new document — the opposite of removing pages. Click the page thumbnails you want to keep, or type them as ranges like 1, 3, 7-9. The result is a new PDF that contains only those pages, in their original order.
Also known as a PDF page extractor, it lets you extract PDF pages, save pages from PDF documents you receive, or pull pages out of PDF files that are far bigger than you need.
If you tick Save each page as a separate PDF, you get one file per selected page instead, packaged as a ZIP. This is useful for splitting a scanned batch of invoices or forms into individual documents.
Tips
- Extract only the pages you need before converting to Word to reduce clean-up; see PDF to Word.
- Your original PDF is never modified.
Common uses
Extract a single chapter from a long manual, pick the signature page out of a contract, pull the relevant invoices from a month-end statement, or share only the slides that matter from a large presentation export. Extracting pages is also a privacy tool: you send exactly what is needed and nothing else.
